Giving back to the community is one of McLane Middleton’s core values and a part of their culture.
“When communities thrive, that creates a ripple effect of positive change that can last for generations,” said John Colucci, director at McLane Middleton, a law firm that has been serving the local community for more than 100 years.
“As a business, we believe that investing in initiatives and programs that strengthen communities can positively influence the lives of those in need,” he added.

“Community service and giving back have always been a part of the mission at McLane Middleton,” said Colucci. “Our firm is guided by the principle that attorneys should be active participants in community and professional organizations.”
And it’s been that way since the firm’s founding in 1919.
“Many of our colleagues are deeply involved in various groups and also regularly volunteer their time for community service work,” said Colucci. “The relationships with these organizations are passed along from one attorney to another over time, introducing new leadership and energy to the groups.”
At McLane Middleton, this strong sense of service comes from both a personal commitment by individual staff members and an organizational belief that there is a responsibility to give back.
Through corporate partnerships and other forms of giving, McLane Middleton generously supports the work of the YMCA of the North Shore, Harborlight Community Partners, Community InRoads, Peabody Essex Museum, North Shore Music Theatre and many others.
In addition, the firm has long had a Community Service Committee, which works hard to offer various volunteer opportunities to the firm’s 200+ staff members, who are located in offices in Woburn, Boston and throughout Southern New Hampshire. Beverly Bootstraps, the New Hampshire Food Bank, Foster and Adoptive Resource Exchange, Waypoint and the NH Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence are among the many organizations the team at McLane Middleton supports with the gift of time.

McLane Middleton has also been a longtime supporter of ECCF through programs like Corporate Partnership and through board service.
