for the underdog

The “For the Underdog” foundation was created to support local organizations that offer services to those who are underserved and provide opportunities to improve the wellbeing of both individuals and communities in need.

We established the “For the Underdog” foundation in honor of our son and brother Greg Cook, who always sought opportunities to care for and serve others. Greg was someone who went out of his way to help those who are often overlooked, no matter the circumstance. He was the type of person who would always give a dollar or a granola bar to someone on the street. This foundation is our opportunity to support local organizations that care for those who have fallen, or are at risk of falling, through the cracks. We seek to identify and support organizations with missions that would have resonated especially with Greg.
