Racial Equity and Social Justice Fund

At ECCF, the Racial Equity and Social Justice Fund invests in organizations and networks that believe another world is possible – a world where everyone not only has their needs met but is thriving.

The fund explicitly focuses on groups and leaders who are deeply rooted in communities that are most affected by inequity and injustice. At ECCF, we recognize that many of the intractable challenges we face in Essex County – and beyond – are the result of inequitable structures, policy, and resource distribution over generations.

ECCF’s Racial Equity and Social Justice Fund partners with groups that are reimagining the systems and structures at work in our communities. It also invests in groups that affirm, preserve and celebrate racial and cultural identity. The collective well-being of our Essex County communities, and the entire Commonwealth, relies on this collaboration. And our goal is to invest in the sustainability and resiliency of the organizations paving a path to the future we collectively envision for Essex County.
