the tommy fund

The Tommy Fund began after the unexpected death of our son, Tommy, shortly after his 4th birthday. Tommy’s beaming smile and outgoing personality brought happiness and joy to those around him, especially his two older sisters, Virginia and Juliet. Ever since he was able to hold a ball, Tommy was drawn to sports and being active. Tommy loved them all: swimming, football, basketball, soccer, baseball. He was fortunate to have access to community and recreational programs like youth soccer and the YMCA and those activities brought him so much joy. Although he will not be able to chase his own athletic dreams, our goal is that, through this fund, other children will experience the same love and joy that Tommy did.  Specifically, we hope to provide grants to agencies and programs that engage youth development and athletics so that more children have the opportunities that Tommy enjoyed so much.
