The Fund has been created to prevent suicide and has focused on two areas of need and promise. Supporting social programs designed to help those at risk of suicide, as well as funding scientific research into the possible biological causes of suicide.

There is a surprising lack of effective organizations that can provide the proper resources for those at risk of suicide and their families and our Fund identifies and financially supports programs that are effective.

We also Fund scientific research into the physiological manifestations of suicide. This is increasingly possible due to the amazing advances in technology which allows researchers to better understand, predict and prevent suicides from occurring.
