What We Do

The Essex County Community Foundation manages 82 charitable funds established by donors either for the general benefit of the community or for special purposes. Since its beginning in 1999, the Foundation and it's donors have given $8.5 million in grants and services to nonprofits in Essex County. As a civic leader, ECCF advises and connects donors with causes and programs, builds permanent community resources and convenes and strengthens nonprofit organizations.
