Planned Giving Committee

Our team of experts can make your planned giving easier

From Amesbury to Lynn, Rockport to Andover, the Community Foundation's Planned Giving Committee works with donors to help them make their charitable giving more effective, meaningful and enjoyable.  The Committee provides technical expertise in the areas of taxation and estate planning for charitable planned giving in Essex County, and it also works with local partners in hosting educational functions designed to encourage informed, inspired philanthropy in the community.  Committee members are highly seasoned experts in various aspects of law, finance, and tax planning who volunteer their time in support of the mission and work of the Essex County Community Foundation.

We are offering new expanded programming to support and enhance philanthropy

This year, the Planned Giving Committee will offer a number of different programs to provide information on local topics of interest with the help of some generous corporate sponsors.  Many of these programs are offered free of charge, and they provide opportunities for philanthropists to learn about and discuss creative giving options.  Some of the events are designed to allow advisors to bring clients and expose them to charitable estate tax and planning ideas.  In addition, the Planned Giving Committee will collaborate with the Essex County Estate Planning Council to provide advisors an opportunity to learn about year-end tax issues with national experts.  Click here for more information about events or to register for the Advisor Breakfast.
