Greater Lawrence Community Action Council Provides children activities that promote preservation of the family unit in a society where drugs and violence are a part of everyday life $3,000.00
Greater Lawrence Community Boating Program Teaches kids safe boating practices $14,000.00
Greater Lawrence Council of Churches Provides a value-centered program for young children of all faiths, races and ethnicity in greater Lawrence $4,000.00
Groundwork Lawrence Supports a 15 month intensive program that offers parttime employment for high school students from Lawrence to help lead local environmental initiatives, conduct outreach to their peers, and participate in hands-on improvement projects throughout the city and in partner communities $4,500.00

Lawrence Public Library Provides for a series of eight free performances for kids including musicians, artists, magicians, storytellers and nature exhibits

Methuen Arlington Neighborhood, Inc. To assist in implementing youth programming such as crafts, sports, field trips and camp activites $3,500.00
Methuen Young People's Theatre Offers Greater Lawrence children the opportunity to perform in a production of Gilbert & Sullivan's operetta $400.00
MSPCA Shares lifetime lessons of compassion, responsibility and respect for all living things through discussions, arts, crafts, songs, games and hands-on care of animals awaiting homes $3,000.00
North Andover Historical Society Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children interested in exploring the rich cultural heritage of Essex County, with emphasis on the Greater Lawrence area $400.00
North Shore Youth Symphony Orchestra, Inc Provides Lawrence violin students with opportunities to continue their music studies over the summer $2,500.00
Northeast Independent Living A program for disabled people to learn about the uniqueness and similarities of each other's disabilities, their own strengths and limitations, and how to use the Independent Living skills learned during the year to overcome barriers to independence $4,500.00
Northern Essex Community College Provides scholarships and transportation for Lawrence kids to attend a summer camp

Phillips Academy ABL To enhance student writing skills and literacy and to improve the teaching of writing in urban public schools $3,500.00
Phillips Academy PALS To offer academic enrichment, study skills, career exploration, and guidance in high school choices to 7th and 8th grade students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds $4,500.00
Pingree School An academic enrichment program for  students from Lawrence who have successfully completed the seventh grade $5,000.00
Project RISE In support of the residential program at Governor's Academy in Byfield, MA. $2,500.00
Si, Se Puede, Inc. Provides educational and recreational opportunities to low-income, urban youth $4,500.00
St. Ann's Home To make available a summer camp experience for six weeks for several students living at St. Ann's home $7,000.00
St. John's Preparatory School Pays for 10 incoming Prep students from the city of Lawrence to participate in the Academic Foundations program in July 2007 $2,500.00
Windrush Farm Therapeutic Equitation, Inc. Offers horseback riding camp for disadvantaged, inner city children who would not otherwise have such an opportunity $4,000.00
YWCA of Greater Lawrence Two programs: 1. For  educationally and economically disadvantaged, inner-city, minority children between the ages of 6-13 2. A leadership program for 14-15 year olds $5,500.00
