Arts Forum
In 2009, ECCF was awarded a grant from the Bruce J. Anderson Foundation to convene Essex County’s nonprofit arts groups in order to share resources, explore ways to expand audiences and strengthen business practices.
We identified arts organizations in Essex County, surveyed them to determine their most pressing needs, and initiated the Essex County Arts Forum to implement projects.
Back office Services
ECCF has long seen the need to develop standardized book-keeping and accounting practices for nonprofit organizations. The costs and compliance issues are making these functions more difficult for small agencies. Members of the Arts forum will be participating in a pilot project we call Back Office Services. Learn more.
Arts in Historic Places
ECCF developed a partnership with the North of Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau and Historic New England to create joint programming to expand audiences by showcasing arts groups during the popular 17th Century Saturdays series at historic sites throughout Essex County. We call the project Arts in Historic Places.
Arts in Historic Places features performances or interactive arts projects by participating arts groups at select 17th Century Saturdays events.
